P.J. Chance AKA "Slim Tha Gr8" from Fayetteville, North Carolina started his love for hip-hop music at the age of 13.  The love for the hip hop music scene has inspired Slim Tha Gr8 to want to be known as a great hip hop artist.  Slim Tha Gr8 broadened his horizon in England as a free style hip-hop artist at the age of 21, while participating in ciphers during his military tour in England.   Once Slim Tha Gr8 returned to the United States he relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, to be near his uncle, J. Bell AKA "Romey Rome" due to his interest in hip-hop music as well.  They both were influenced by artists like Marvin Gaye, Tina Turner, 2 Pac, Michael Jackson, Common and Jay Z. Slim Tha Gr8 and Romey Rome decided to work together on a project.  They invested their time and money in establishing a home recording studio along with a production label EGB22 Entertainment.  The project also consisted of recording their first CD titled “Slim’s Time”.  Slim Tha Gr8 wrote all the lyrics from life experiences and performed all the songs.  Romey Rome created all the beats.  Slim Tha Gr8’s CD titled “Slim’s Time” has an intro and 17 songs. Slim has a wide range of topics that he addresses on his Slim’s Time CD. Topics include: domestic violence "Fly Away", social issues "Loud N Proud", "Lord Why", personal issues "Pray 4 Me", "Pour Me A Drink" and in-depth storytelling "Being Chase", "Bimbo". On "My Uncle and Me" and "See Me Shine" he raps about his ambition to make it in the music industry. He also has songs that cater to the females "Chocolate Chip", "Nuthin Like Me" and for the club scene "Famous", "Birthday Suit" and "Juke Joint". Slim Tha Gr8 is straight forward with his message. This is a CD that you would want to checkout if you are looking for something creative, original, with a unique sound.  All of the songs are US Copyrighted and also registered with ASCAP.
