Bio
In l993 SR moved to Los Angeles, California where she volunteered for the National Academy of Songwriters. She assisted Dan Kimple, author of Networking in the Music Business, putting her alongside writers such as Jeff Berry (Leader of the Pack, Chapel of Love), Alan Rich and Jud Friedman (Run to You-Whitney Houston) and Dino Fekaris (I Will Survive). That experience helped shape her songwriting skills, although networking became her expertise. Rmusic Hurd was born, her independent retail/radio promotion company. After working as a contractor for several "indy" labels she launched Rmusic Hurd to help consult and promote artists and small labels to retail stores across the country.
The days of the retail stores have practically ended and so, Rmusic Hurd has also taken new directions, here on the web and beyond. SR is undergoing artist development with Maxie B from the Mary-Jane Girls. Now in production with original songs like, Time, Twisted Rhythms and So Far Away.
